🎯 Boot’n & Shoot’n 2025: Supporting Heroes, One Shot at a Time
Posted by Squatch Survival Gear | April 18, 2025
On April 17, 2025, we had the honor of participating in Boot’n & Shoot’n at the Dallas Gun Club in Dallas, Texas—a premier skeet shooting event that brings together veterans, first responders, and patriots for a day of camaraderie and purpose.
More than just a shooting competition, Boot’n & Shoot’n is about supporting the men and women who serve—and that’s a mission we’re always proud to get behind.
🎯 Our Role: Booth, Team, Brotherhood
This year, Squatch Survival Gear joined forces with the team from 1st There Foundation to raise awareness and funds for their incredible work supporting operators, first responders, and military veterans.
We didn’t just set up a booth—we rolled up with gear, grit, and gratitude.
-
We demoed our most mission-ready packs, including the Gnome Chest Pack and the Kakamora 3-Day Pack
-
We joined the 1st There shooting team and hit the course with fellow veterans
-
We sold gear to raise money directly for the 1st There Foundation
It was an honor to stand shoulder to shoulder with so many who have worn the uniform—and to support the nonprofits that continue the mission long after the battlefield.
💪 Nonprofits We Stand Beside
We’d like to recognize and thank these organizations for the incredible work they do:
-
1st There Foundation – Supporting elite operators and their families with immediate, boots-on-the-ground assistance
-
Valor Mission – Helping veterans transition, heal, and thrive after service
-
Brain Treatment Foundation – Providing cutting-edge care to those with traumatic brain injuries
-
Third Option Foundation – Serving the quiet professionals of the Special Operations community and their families
Their work makes a real difference. If you’re looking for a way to give back, start here.
🙌 Thank You, Eric Lionheart
A special shoutout to Eric Lionheart from 1st There Foundation for inviting us to be part of his team. It’s guys like Eric—warriors still fighting for others—that keep the mission alive.
🎒 Gear That Got the Most Attention
Attendees couldn’t stop checking out:
-
The Gnome Chest Pack – for its compact, ergonomic design that keeps essentials accessible
-
The Rock Ape 3-Day Pack – for its balance of comfort, capacity, and rugged build
If you missed out, both are available online—and a portion of sales from the event went straight to 1st There Foundation.
👣 The Mission Doesn’t End Here
Boot’n & Shoot’n reminded us why we do what we do: build gear for the mission, support our fellow warfighters, and give back where we can.
We’re honored to stand with those who serve—and we’ll be back next year, locked, loaded, and ready to support.
